Hey, Hey,Hey! Ladies, welcome back!
I am so sorry that I had to skip our weekly party last week. I am almost ashamed to admit what happened but I am human right? So, I tried signing into InLinkz (the link-up tool that I use) all day last Wednesday unsuccessfully. I couldn’t imagine why that was happening. I tried to reset my password a few times, still nothing. Well, I eventually gave up and put in a ticket and never heard from them. Of course, I forgot to follow-up because of mom brain until I broke into panic last night when I realized that I needed it up today. So I tried again and well, I realized something. I was using pre-populated box that had a typo. Why I never checked the spelling of my email address all those times? I am not sure but it’s definitely a lesson learned. I am happy that I figured it out and we are back to regular programing.
I wanted to ask you to join me this month as a #ThankfulMom. Parenting is tough but I am grateful that I was chosen to be a mother, for my family and my support system. I’ll be sharing gratitude gift ideas, and reasons I am thankful all month. I’ll love to have you link your gratitude posts here so I can see them and feature them during the month of November.
Now that we are back on track, I want to share a really cool event that I am attending this weekend with you. If you’re in New York City, I hope you can come out and join us. Cosmopolitan magazine is having the Cosmo’s Fun Fearless Life weekend on Saturday and Sunday. That’s two entire days of inspiration. As you know from my Oprah Life You Want Weekend Recap, I love these self-development events. Just the energy of the room pushes you to really take life by the horns and “do ya’ thing!” There is going to be lots of girl power in the room, I am looking forward to hearing Sara Blakely, the CEO of Spanx and first female billionaire in the United States story. Plus, Sophia Amoruso, the Nasty Gal founder is going to share how she went from selling on eBay to a multi-million dollar business owner. Beverly Bond who founded Black Girl Rocks which I love will be there as well. As a social media professional, I think I am mostly anticipating Twitter CEO Dick Costolo. If you can’t make it, don’t worry I’ll share everything in my recap. It’s going to be EPIC again.
Our featured post from our last link-up is from Product Review Mom who took her adorable girls to Kids Bop concert. I really enjoyed hearing about the good time they had and not to mention their cute outfits. Check out her post here:
Anyway, I can’t wait to see your posts. Please feel free to link two posts so we can play make up.
I made this fun button so you can link back to the party but you’re free to also use text links to link back to this post.
